Shipping, Delivery and Returns
I handcraft every piece to order and take immense care in packaging your tables and accessories to ensure they arrive at your home in pristine condition. Below you will find everything you need to know about how your order travels from my workshop to your door.
Production & Shipping Timeline
Because every item is made to order, please allow time for crafting before shipment. Tables from my collection are built within a 3 to 6-week timeframe, depending on current workshop volume. Plywood tables are typically built in 3-4 weeks, hardwood tables 3-5 weeks, and Maloof Inspired side tables 5-6 weeks. Record stands and ledges are completed more quickly, typically within 1 to 2 weeks. It will then be a few days in transit to you once your piece is finished. For more complex custom pieces, I will discuss and agree upon a specific production timeline with you during our initial planning period.
If you have a specific date in mind, I will always do my absolute best to accommodate reasonable deadlines, and I will always answer you honestly about what is achievable based on my current workshop workflow.
Local Pickup
If you live in Southern California, you are more than welcome to bypass shipping altogether and pick up your piece directly from my workshop in Rancho Cucamonga, CA. As your piece gets near completion, I will reach out to you directly to coordinate a convenient day and time for your pickup.
Delivered by the Maker
For customers throughout Southern California, I offer personal delivery — I bring your piece to you myself, rather than handing it off to a freight carrier. There’s no large box to break down and no guesswork about placement: I’ll set the piece exactly where you want it in your home and make sure everything looks right before I go. This service is available for $85 within my immediate service area (Inland Empire and surrounding cities) and $185 for the broader Southern California region, including Los Angeles, Orange County, San Diego, the Coachella Valley, Ventura County, and Santa Barbara County. As your piece nears completion, I’ll reach out to schedule a delivery day and time that works for you. Record ledges and stands are shipped via standard carrier when ordered on their own, but are welcome to ride along when bundled with a table delivery.
Continental U.S. Shipping (CONUS)
Standard ground shipping is charged based on the largest piece in your order for all collection pieces shipped within the contiguous United States. If you are outside the continental United States, I will determine and inform you about any additional shipping costs.
Shipping to Canada
I am happy to ship to my neighbors up north. Canadian orders are subject to an additional shipping charge calculated at checkout based on your delivery address. Please note that customers are solely responsible for all applicable customs, duties, and brokerage fees incurred upon crossing the border.
Custom Commissions
My custom work goes well beyond the tables in my standard collection. I welcome a wide variety of custom woodworking projects, including bespoke interior pieces like custom media consoles, as well as exterior woodwork such as decorative house shutters. If you have a unique concept in mind, let’s talk—though please note that I do not build kitchen cabinets, as I prefer to leave large-scale cabinetry to those who specialize exclusively in it.
Because large-scale custom pieces often exceed standard courier weight and size limits, they require specialized freight services to guarantee safe delivery. Shipping costs for these projects are calculated and quoted during our initial design and planning phase. A 50% deposit is required to secure your build slot and begin the project, with the remaining balance due immediately upon completion of the piece. Custom orders will not be shipped or delivered until the final payment has been collected in full.
Carriers and Transit Times
To ensure the safest transit for your items, I use dedicated carriers depending on the size of the product. Tables from my collection are shipped securely via FedEx or UPS Ground, while record ledges and record stands travel via FedEx, UPS, or USPS. I exclusively utilize standard ground transit and do not offer expedited shipping upgrades.
Tracking Your Order
As soon as I drop your package off with the carrier, I will send you a confirmation email with your tracking number. This allows you to follow your package’s journey and know exactly when it will arrive at your doorstep.
Returns and Refunds
Every item is handcrafted to order and built specifically for you, so I do not offer traditional refunds or returns. That being said, I am deeply invested in your satisfaction and stand behind the quality of my work. If there is ever an issue with your piece when it arrives, please reach out to me directly. I am a reasonable person and will absolutely work with you to find a fair, helpful solution.
